Triceratops egg issue

Jerking and The Fairy Who Ignores All The Silly Rules5 hours, 44 minutes ago

HI all,

I have triceratops eggs in my garden. This is the second time that they don't even show up as missed. The last time it took weeks for them to appear. One egg in my garden has been sitting on the nest for over a week.

It isn't that they appear and are missed, they simply are not appearing.

My garden set up is roughly the same. I just change the set up for the animal needed to get an egg.

Can I get some advice? Thanks

You've had some missed, so they are coming.  But  your mushroom is RTH so not deterring mice - use a fully grown one to deter some of them.  And use food which nothing else you're attracting can come to - they're quite rare so the more common stuff you're attracting will get there first.

Thanks Tracy. I just saw one appeared 5 hours ago. The last two eggs I had took almost two weeks to even appear. I have run into this before. It is like they change the algorithm to suppress things when multiple  'events' are happening like Easter, Earth Day and the earthworm.

The eggs of Fairyland (Dino, Easter, Chicks etc.) have no set hatch time. Depending on the competition for the food, the animal inside the egg can come immediately or take several days.

You are using low plates of birdmix with no deterrent for pests (while the Seal can eat from a high table) so no surprises the Dinos are not coming. And you already have 2 Dino eggs with no room for more so no need to attract more seals right now. Try high plates with fruit (to eliminate Seals & ducks) and maybe a deterring mushroom, if you can.

Thank Alexandros.

I am on my 29th Triceratops. This is my usual set up. I normally set up for the animal needed so that others can spot them. The mushroom was set for the April pottery lottery. Normally I, like most dino enthusiasts, have a lot of missed, but since the Easter, Earth Day and Earth Worm releases the dino showing up at all has greatly slowed down. Not the first time I have experienced this in my Dino journey.

Thanks for your advice. I will change out the mushroom and add a high plate for veggies.
