Hello, I bought gold around Apr 2 through Paypal. I'm looking through my bank statement & I see an International Service Assessment Fee through Paypal for Fairyland. It's only $1.20, but I have never been charged a fee to buy gold. Is this perhaps a new regulation? If not, do I ask Paypal to return it? Just asking for some advice. Thanks.

I bought gold recently and wasn't charged a fee. I'm from the US and went through paypal.

Usually it's the bank that charges the fee, but that shouldn't show as going through paypal.

I buy through paypal but am in Aus so the bank charges an international fee on the transaction as the transaction is in USD. This is on a separate line on my bank statement which it would appear is what you are seeing as well. So if you need to query the charge you would need to go back through to your own bank as not a paypal issue.
