I’m having Blue Jays visit quite often, but I’m not having them nest. I have shoot away probably for cuckoos.
I’m currently on my second round of redoing my flowers and I just had another cuckoo land in the nest but I’ve had Blue Jays visit

Birds will only sit in a nest which their kind has helped build. A blue jay didn't contribute to your nest, so it won't nest there either.

Thank you so much it’s been driving me crazy. I totally thought that the Bluejay completed it because I only had one spot that needed to be repaired and that’s when I started bringing the Blue Jays and I didn’t even know that a duck was what finished it. Thank you I feel a little better, but not slightly annoyed.
