Cuckoo chick question

put out my Cuckoo chick full bouquet vase and a low plate of bird mix and a gold cuckoo chick was spotted. To my surprise the cuckoo egg remains intact in the nest. Does that mean the next chick will be a regular cuckoo chick?

If there is no low plate of bird mix and I spot and attract the missing chick to complete my bouquet will the next spot of a cuckoo chick be another gold cuckoo chick?

Yes, it will be a regular cuckoo chick. In answer to the second part of your question, yes, you can save it for your next gold cuckoo if you wish.

The only thing I’m not sure about, is whether it stays intact with 2 platters of food only, or with just one. Perhaps someone else can confirm, but in theory, you should be able to use the same cuckoo egg to attract all 5 gold cuckoo chicks!
