In the January Pot Lot I really liked the pot so I did the quest 18 times in the hope of winning one.  I didn't unfortunately but have now decided it doesn't really matter how many times you do the quest, its just a matter of luck.  I will only be doing the quest once in future and stick with the regular pot

Yes, it's absolutely down to luck.  I've won with one entry, and not won when I've entered seven or eight times.  It really is the luck of the draw, just  like any other lottery or game of chance.  You do get more "tickets" in the draw if you enter more times, but that's still no guarantee that your ticket will be drawn first.

That said, I'm chuffed to little meatballs that I got the little kitty pot from the January draw.  It's the first time I've really wanted to even try for a very long time and it was a lovely surprise that I got one.  It doesn't happen often but when you DO win, and it's a lovely pot, it does feel good!
