I can only see that it would be you mushroom. When it's fully grown, it is "only" a very good deterrent for M&Ms but RFH it doesn't deter anything. You can either put a new one in or use a pink cap also fully grown, not RFH, which is better because it is an excellent M&M deterrent.

No but you're not deterring mice and mallards so less chance for the bears....

That is perfect. You are set up correctly but having a mushroom that wasn't deterring M&Ms wasn't helping the bears come in but a SS will do the trick. Yes you can get WRCs but that's normal because supershrooms attract them. As long as you aren't attracting anything else, then it will only be the bears or WRCs now.

PS....You need your super shroom to be fully grown.....and also the fully grown super shroom helps to deter goldilocks.
