The Snail Game was discontinued for everyone years ago. If you found any gardens still having it, they must have been frozen all this time. If they stay unfrozen long enough, their snail game will expire and they will not be able to renew it.

I once took a break from Facebook so I couldn’t play fairyland so my garden was frozen for about 4 years. As above comment stated anyone you see with these games had their garden frozen while games where still a thing but once the game plays out (don’t recall how many days the game used to last) they will no longer have the option to re get game.

On another note I so miss those snails!

I miss the snails too. They lasted 7 days before you had to renew. But being frozen can't be the answer. My garden has been frozen for 8 years, when we still had snail game
  I just came back in August and I always had snail game, never let it run out. And when I came back, I  did not have snail game in my garden.  So what else could it be?

But I just thought of something.  When I left, I  didn't actually freeze my garden the day I left. I let it freeze naturally.  So the snail game could have run out by then. OK so that's probably it!

It IS the answer.  If they had time left on their game when they froze, they still have that time left when they unfreeze.  Your game must have expired before you froze and you didn't renew it.
