Hi there :) !
Here's an idea I just had for something new:
Create a cute but mischievous Elf. He likes everything sweet, like birthday cakes, chocolate eggs, all the good stuff of 'Alice' etc. and he'll leave something nice in your garden (some coins? a special flower?). He might clean off the whole table at once though (like the bears with a honey pot - and oh yes! He likes honey ;)) - He also likes to take a nap on grass - but while he does, no cows or goats can feed. (He might leave a 'thank you' for that as well? Like a ... a special rose?) He doesn't like veggies or bird seed though (he might steal a flower perhaps?? or do some other mischief if he can't find anything he likes), but he eats berries or fruit. - So far, so good. Please let me know what you think :)

Oh my gosh...what a creative idea. Maybe this mischievous elf could play these pranks after Christmas and Santa is off on vacation to a sunny climate.

That is a great idea, Ute! Thanks for suggesting it.

Thanks, Mary and Sharon :)

Of course, the Mischievous Elf will be very thirsty by now, travelling through the gardens, eating all those sweets... so the special rose he left for you will provide some delicious nectar when RFH. He'll greedily drink it all! But - he is grateful and will leave a special gift for you... a precious pot perhaps? In which you can plant something special? ... tbc ;)

Lovely idea but wouldn't be happy if he cleared a plate of superfood.....😬

No thanks I wouldn't like to spend my money and time to have my superfood swiped for some pretend gift , sorry I probably sound like a party pooper but this doesn't work for me , the sweet items jn the game cost most in terms of seeds , imagine the elf swiping  your candy flower that took many tries to find, and the ft seed that took lots of hunting to have the grass disappear?

Hi, Jayne and Megan,
I hope that the elf wouldn't go so far as to swipe a Fairytale seed or take superfood. I don't care for that sort of prank, either. Since I have never done the candies, I had no idea how that would work. I've seen people post that it takes forever to get a certain candy, so the elf should rule out that sort of activity. I *do* like the idea of a little elf who (during the Christmas holidays) "hops down from the shelf" to play "harmless" pranks. Having him in Fairyland would create the element of intrigue which would provide a little "shot in the arm" to the game. P.S. Leaving some gold as a gift is an excellent suggestion. And, right now, I wish I had one of the little guys to leave me a sunlight seed.  :D Obviously this idea would have to be worked into the game for next Christmas, although it would be great if it could (as Mary suggested) become a part of the game other times as well.

I like the idea in principle,  but only if it was a self-contained thing,  limited to a new set of flowers/food so you'd choose to set up for it, and it couldn't affect your setup if you weren't actively set up for it yourself.

It puts me in mind of the Elfland April Fool that Mike did one year.  Very funny as a joke, but not at all amusing if someone deliberately destroys your carefully worked out plan.
