I was a player long ago and froze the garden for the last 15 yrs. I have some birthstones, some I think from before - if that's even possible but some from the last month. I put the citrine out for the scorpions and waiting! There haven't been enough yet but then looking at it, it gives me the option to plant a seed. Which makes me wonder if it's "just a pot" from the past, and the "powers" only came later! How.can I tell? Thanks for any help.

Hi Janet - it still has a colour so you can either use it to plant a baby or you can use it as an ordinary pot - if you do use it as an ordinary pot, once you either harvest or remove the plant it still retains the ability to plant a baby.  Once it has been used to plant a baby and baby has hatched, the stone will turn grey and then can only be used as an ordinary pot.
