Sorry - I realized I had lots of facts wrong. This is hard if you've never done any frogs yet!

Just a few comments...try to spot all the bottom dwellers that you need to spot to move along the bottom dwellers without hesitation...that means five each of lobster, octopus...and so on. Also...spot as many tadpoles, froglets and underwater frogs(ghostly ones work too) so that you get a series of them. The land frogs to spot do not help you other than to give gems but help the garden owner. The first set of tadpoles, froglets and underwater frogs that you spot in other gardens and have high berries out with an empty low platter will mean that you will get spawn. Tben you have to go underwater and get tadpoles to visit...use the food that gives the most feeds and advertise a lot to get those tadpoles spotted. Each tadpole will eventually become an underwater frog...which make it easier to get underwater spawn for the bottom dwellers. Also have a good supply of shrooms as they definitely help deter the mermaids. I am assuming that you have done rainbow of fish already. Get comfortable doing the frog breeding before you consider doing the bottom dwellers.

Ok, thanks. I was writing this out to try to do both (frogs and bottom dwellers) at the same time, but I think it's going to be too hard having to pop up to land to get the frog, then go back underwater!  I did finish the rainbow of fish.

Then you are already one step there. You know how to do the rainbow of fish...because knowing that will help you as once again you will need to bring in the sea myths to drop pondweed in the coloured rocks...so that you can colour your coral. I do hope that you kept some of the used grey rocks from planting pondweed in them...because that is what you use to plant the coral in. Any grey rocks that you have will be in your storage area. You can do frogs and bottom dwellers at the same time...but if you get yourself familiar with frog breeding beforehand...and get all those tadpoles spotted in yours...you won't have to go to land to get the spawn. A great time saver and saver of underwater toadstool seeds. Your first and every fifth land frog will leave spawn...same goes for underwater ones. So be careful whenever you put berries on a high table on land or you might sacrifice that first land frog. I much prefer to do frog breeding/bottom dwellers totally underwater...it also saves me from hunting all the tadpoles, froglets and underwater frogs for the series. You will have to initially do land frogs to get spawn...it is the only way. But after that...if you have those tadpoles...you don't have to do that again. The bottom dwellers are not difficult if you realize that there are steps to follow...follow the steps and all will work out. Briefly...bring in the sea myths for the pondweed...plant the coral..bring in guppies to colour coral...bring in underwater frogs to lay spawn on a low table...and welcome the bottom dwellers. Put in a dulcia to stop the frogs....and when your ten bottom dwellers arrive...take out the dulcia and get more tadpoles in the mix.

Thanks so much!  I think you're right - I'll do that first set of frogs on their own to get the tadpoles. After I finish these topiary pots!

Ask for help here...there are some great people who know the frog breeding inside and out...and listen to them only. Then there is less confusion. And as for the tadpoles...you can spot your own if need be...I think that we all have done it because they stay for such a short time. I really liked the bottom dwellers...the topiaries...not so much.

Do not be intimidated by the frogs. Underwater they breed like in real life...a tadpole...then froglet...and then frog. And then the frog lays spawn to start the cycle all over again.

The topiary are killing me - going to break for bottom dwellers after this set of pots. I don't mind the attracting, but keep needing to freeze for lack of place to hunt!

I thought I'd want the greenhouse before trying bottom dwellers, but realize that you can't put the pondweed in there anyway, so it's probably not very helpful (other than maybe putting a supershroom in there when you need another mermaid).
