the pink panther strolls in when the rooster is pointing in the right direction......will that direction be the same at the same time for everyone or does each garden have its own direction for the day...please help....cant seem to get the pink to visit at all

No, that's a tiger you are thinking about. Pink Panther visits gardens that attracts Black Panther, who are attracted by regular leopards (not tigers).
From the wildlife guide - "Attracted by the wind (Ready For Harvest Ventus Quatriflorus)... the more different 'directions' of wind, the stronger the attraction!"
Long story short - for leopards, having different directions, not the same ones, helps.
And as for pink panthers - they are very rare, so it takes a long time for them to arrive.

Oh thank you so much Shahaf and Mish Mish for this reply...now makes perfect sense...I will plant another Ventus so that I have 2 wind directions.......and I will exercise some pink patience

Though, do mind that they are *very* rare. I have two Ventus in my garden, but still got only 4 PP and tons of leopards... So, if you have space, I reccomend planting as much Ventus as possible, despite how long it takes them to be RFH.

You need one Cattus for each Ventus do detter the gazelle, yes, but only when the Catus is RFH so no need for that now.
Lesson hard learned - it's a CATTUS, not a CACTUS! I planted a cactus, and all I got was some geckos, before a kind fairy pointed out to me I planted the wrong plant :)

thank you Shahaf......at least i planted the right plant although got the wrong first impression cattus cactus...suddenly I'm getting tigers so i changed the direction of the rooster...hope I'm not messing it up now

The tigers are coming to your fully grown Ventus, so changing the direction of the rooster (the RTH Ventus) won"t stop the tigers,.   If you are getting tigers and don't want them, change the direction of the fully grown plant.

Thank You Tracy......I should be researching all this more thoroughly....feel a bit stupid ...when you don't tackle these difficult quests on an ongoing basis you get a bit green around the edges.......
