are Pink Panthers nearly extinct?

I had 4 Plates/80 feeds of SF and 1 single Pink Panther visiting. I'm aware they're considered 'very rare' but this is beyond frustrating. Does anyone else have issues attracting them?

They are beyond "very rare".   They replace the Black Panther and, as the Wildlife Guide states: "Remember however that Black Panthers are extremely rare, and therefore the Pink Panther is too!".  They take a bit of patience but as long as you're bringing in the Leopard regularly, the Pink Panther will show up.  Just not very often!

1/80 sounds very unlucky but I assume some of those 80 feeds were not Leopards. So I guess the rarity should be judged against Leopards alone.

Yes, it should.  And with just the one Ventus, it probably wasn't a huge number of visits over those four plates.

I had 12 Leopards on one of the first plates, 11 on the other, 10 on the 3rd and another 12 on the 4th that's 45 Leos vs one PP.

I've been trying for my first pp almost all of October. When I use a supershroom. I get more reds. I know patience is important but I have tried for several years and this is so frustrating. Any suggestions for my garden arrangement? Maybe that is the problem?

That is my experience with the special animals as well. They seem to come in waves. They take forever to initially come and then they come all together; usually during the most quiet time.

Heidi, I used 13 superfood platters to attract 8 pink panthers. It took me five days. Beyond frustrating is an understatement. Extinct are mice compared to panthers. I also used 5 superfood platters to attract one black panther. Glad I’ll never need to attract them again.
