Hi, I sprinkled stardust so it kept the witch, but since I removed the ghost, I just get mice not even ghostly. I thought the reason to sprinkle you keep the effect with out the plants. Help please x

The effect doesn't attract anything, it just gives the background.  .  You need the RTH plant as well, for the wildlife.

It's cheaper on your stardust to freeze the background, not use it  on the plant.  You don't have to keep dusting or replanting that way.  You can remove it from your background when you are done with the ghostlies.

You need the plant and the background.  If you freeze the background you can just keep the same plant rather than keep dusting or replanting.

You can use the same trick to keep the falling snow over the winter season, for festives.
