Does anyone know what is happening with Fairyland since Facebook is dropping games?  Facebook is changing how players interact with games and moving to an "Instant Games" model more akin to quick mobile gameplay. I don't go on FB and I'm not sure if it's being discussed there.  Anyone know if the game will continue?

where did you find that out? I only play on my laptop and always have to sign in to FB first b4 the game will load.

Another game that I play put out a notice that it is happening.  That game was already set up for this change and won't be a problem.  It has a mobile app as well.  I didn't think that Fairyland was set up that way but I just don't know. 

I also found this: It is ending Web Games on the platform after September 30, 2026, requiring developers to migrate to Instant Games. It is focusing on its main app for gaming communities and "Instant Games" for mobile play. 

I didn't know if Fairyland put out an official statement on Facebook that the game will/won't be affected or if they are working on something.  I would love it if Fairyland had a mobile app and was completely independent of FB/Meta.  On a personal note, I would spend more money on the game if I could use google to pay for gold/star dust. 

I can play on my computer or phone/iPad so not sure if it matters....:)

It only matters after September 30, 2026.  My other game has migrated early.

Yes Facebook is discontinuing games in about a year from now (End of September 2026) so I will be migrating Fairyland to our own website at www.fairylandgame.com

I need to do quite a lot of work for this, removing all the Facebook integration from the game, so it will be happening sometime next year.
