I admit that I found it harder this year too. Not sure if the pumpkin heights required as higher? I had to toss my first pumpkin as could not get it to twenty pounds. I think once the Hallowe'en flowers go ready for harvest it will be easier. And there already were more gardens today than yesterday.

The pumpkin heights are higher this year.  The first ones began at 10 lbs in the two previous years.

It will get easier.  It's only a couple of days since they were released and people may be finishing off quests or other things before they start on the Hallowe'en stuff.  Once there are more gardens, it won't be so hard.
