I am using a wing unicorn mushroom for a topiary unicorn my bush 67%
right now and all I am getting is dragons
so what is the best mushroom for bush unicorn?

RFH pink cap or FG enchanted pink mushroom.
Highly recommend finishing/starting the Rainbow of Fish challenge to earn the Rainbow Rocks, which turn any mushroom RFH instantly.

It also helps to know the topiary trail in advance so you can plant for the wildlife - having a FG pink cap to deter the pests during the 7th trail would have then lead to you having a RFH pink cap "shortly" after for the 8th trail unicorn requirement.

Using a FG mushroom is doable, but a lot harder as you have experienced as you're attracting a lot of myths. If going that route I'd use the mushroom one up from the unicorn I'm trying to attract.  Think how much harder it's going to be as you progress and have to use a higher mushroom each level which attracts yet more myths/unicorns. 
I'd get the rainbow rocks - that's what I did first and then did tops but up to you.

It takes 5 days for a Pink Cap to be RFH when you diamond/fruit dust it.
