5 times now the egg I need to wobble didn't and the one I don't want yet did

I had 3 eggs wagtail cuckoo and magpie
I wanted to keep the magpie and cuckoo nesting but
Unfortunately found the birds needed for eggs while hunting other things

3 times cuckoo wobbled I dumped 2x and let it be spotted the 3rd since
  I don't need it yet and is easy to get another nesting

Tried 2 more times and both times magpie wobbled but
  I can't let it be spotted because I need it for gold after
The wagtail completes my vase

4/5 times the wagtail egg was far left because I thought the furthest left hatches first
I put to right and still magpie wobbled

Is it whichever eggs are laid first hatch first? Though I think I had the wagtail egg before the magpie

Is there a way to influence which hatches or do I have to keep dumping plates till the wagtail finally wobbles?

No, you can't influence which hatches.  You're attracting them both so either can be programmed in, and placement doesn't have any influence over that.

I was afraid of that
Now I have to just keep wasting gold dumping
food till I get what I want
I'd use regular but it's too hard to get the timing
Very frustrating
