Been playing this game when we first got the birdbaths and NEVER saw an alert on a birdbath or a CHICK hatch and crack the EGG until two days ago.

Constructive suggestion nicely conveyed:
1. There should not be an alert on the birdbath for a chick, nor should the chick coming on a birdbath crack an egg.

2. OR if this is the way it will be, then there should ALWAYS be an alert for a chick on the birdbath.

3. We should have been warned about this happening in the NEWS and in our the WILDLIFE GUIDE. People that are suspended from the forums or never visit need the info conveyed in the NEWS and the WILDLIFE GUIDE!

I agree with you Lynn! It was very unexpected to see a chick hatch from an egg in my garden on the water... I hope it is just a glitch that can be fixed...

Its been like that for long .. I have done some eggs and they hatched on the birdbath .. sometimes I did egg and leave birdbath so I didnt have to use bird food  .. when you need twins better not have birdbath out too since you Will lose the twin

I think many Will find out this just now because of the new addition of chick vases .. sorry you just getting to know that .. I understand It might be problematic since this challenge Will take time and specially care with birdbath and eggs at the same time

I have NEVER had an alert from the birdbath, I have NEVER had an egg hatched from the birdbath in the past. That is so wrong!!  That is a major hindrance for these gold chicks especially. If that is the way it is, it should definitely be posted in the wildlife section and also with the gold chicks so people are aware they need to be careful. But it should never be this way! If they can limit other things, like only one Dino of the same type per hour, and gold critters coming on first only, then they surely should be able to block the bird bath from affecting eggs in the nest. This is just wrong, and so egregious that it should be boldly listed in an area that EVERYONE can see. It's too hard to do the nest, the tasking for the egg, and then suddenly have it snatched away. That's just wrong!

Never before, I should say, it happened to me on the Cuckoo Egg I had. I got lucky, because I had the food out and it still brought the chicks, but it could have been a total disaster,  As it is, it cost people who were after my chicks a lot of gold trying to figure out when or if they were still coming with a cracked egg. The alert came before 30 minutes on organic, and the chick and egg hatched from the birdbath at around 36 minutes. Thankfully I was trying to hatch it and had food out for it, because it I hadn't, it still would have hatched from the bird bath and I would have gotten nothing. Supports only reply so far is
"The Birdbath is effectively just another food table. Because of this the chick can visit the birdbath in the same way as it does a regular food table and make the egg hatch. If you don't want it to hatch until you are ready to use low platters, don't also have a filled birdbath in your garden when you have an egg."  Totally inadequate in my opinion. I wrote back, and also asked if the gold chicks will come from the bird bath, but they have not answered back since yesterday when I replied. This should be fixed, it should not be an ongoing issue. That turns the bird bath into a hindrance, especially for the gold chicks, but any time is bad.

I totally agree with the above comments.

More questions for the support’s reply—“”THE BIRDBATH IS EFFECTIVELY JUST ANOTHER FOOD TABLE””

Does this mean we can attract chicks to the birdbath then? How many feeds can we expect before the birdbath hatches the egg? Will it be days/weeks/months? I’ve had both birdbath and eggs out for days and NEVER saw a chick hatch from the birdbath! Can we effectively attract birds to the “birdbath food table” we need for our nests, also?

Thank you!
