Dinosaur eggs question, birthday T-Rex specifically.

I know twins aren't possible for dinosaurs, but if you have cake and normal food out with a T-Rex egg is it common to have a normal and a birthday T-Rex show up for the same egg? I didn't realise that was possible...also will it return without another egg or have I missed the chance of that one being spotted now?

Yes, you can get both, but missed ones don't come back.
