What must one achieve to get things like a greenhouse, birdbath, more feedingtables in the gardens and perhaps other things?

Green house is from doing the Topiary challenge. The birdbath from the Bottom Dwellers. The big hat table, from doing the Alice challenge. The Gnome table from doing the Fairytales and the fancy tables you see are from doing the Quests. I think that’s all….😊

There are a few more:

If you complete the Butterflies challenge you can use 10 Forest Ruby seeds for Supershrooms (instead of 5 Amber or Sunlight).

By completing the "Rainbow of Fish" challenge you get the "rainbow rocks" that turn mushrooms RTH instantly (which is very helpful with many challenges like the Topiaries).

And of course by finishing the Dinos challenge you get 48 hrs of free Superfood each calendar month!

Completing the chameleon gives you a special, colour changing pot that can instantly be used to attract any colour chameleon.  Useful for pottery lottery if chameleons are one of your requirements.
