Do sunflowers attract worms. I am growing my sunflower to harvest, have a supershroom but got two worms on my bird seed instead of AKPs.

I was just wondering how gardens with supershrooms are getting summer mice?? The shroom attracts the worms.

I have the correct setup for AKP and was surprised to get two worms at first feed. I’ve put the sunflower in my greenhouse but it really needs to come out and grow. I just don’t want to get stuck with grub while it’s growing.

Great Question! Was this not addressed last Summer? Short memory here - but I don't remember hearing this issue with the SS/WRC's for Sunflowers. Would like to know if we're forgetting something; or if it has always been?

I put the sunflower in the GH and an AKP arrived. I put it back out and got another worm so back in the GH it went. No clue what was discussed last summer. Might be coincidence. It is the weekend and we all know that’s when infestation is at its highest.
