Would someone please refresh my memory? I think many of us did the underwater myths in order from watery sea dragon up to sea unicorn when doing the rainbow of fish challenge.
But...if one has not done the rainbow of fish challenge, and has not done the earlier sea myths...is one able to attract the sea unicorn without having done the others as long as a ready for harvest pink cap is in a pond setting? With the land myths one had to have spotted and attracted the previous myths in order to do so, hence my wondering. Just curiosity.

I am pretty sure that as long as you have unlocked the mushroom/land-based myth, you can do the underwater ones in any order.

I thought that too...but just had that sudden curiosity. I knew that you couldn't do the pondweed out of order as there were special requirements for the purchase of the coloured rocks.

You could attract the sea unicorn underwater with veggies and RFH pink cap but without having completed ROF, you wouldn’t have the violet rock to plant your weed if that’s why you were planting.

It would not be for pondweed...if one was doing dinosaurs and the underwater critter was the sea unicorn.

Yes, you could absolutely attract.
