What did you find the most difficult Quest/Series to complete, Chameleons, Topiary, Alice, Fairytale etc?

Hands down. Dinosaurs. Building the nests. Not so difficult for the egg creating...as I preferred to attract for my eggs as it was enough to hunt for the dinos to build the nests...or repair them. If the critter of the week was particularly difficult, then I just shifted to a different dino if I could or sat out a week.

I didn't find the Dinos difficult, just long-winded and repetitive, and needing a bit of patience. I just did the weeks I wanted to, and didn't bother in the harder weeks.  I didn't find the nests too tricky but I made my nests before I needed them, every time I found an alert, and didn't find that too onerous.

Topiaries, on the other hand, I hate.  I know other people who loved them and found them easiy but I'd put them down as my most difficult, purely because I find them so stressful - I've only got two indigos and a violet to do but I'll likely never finish because I really can't bring myself to put myself through it.

In fairness, I don't think any of the tasks are particularly difficult in themselves - some are heavy on resources though, which can make them feel tricky; some take a long time; some are a bit repetitive and become dull; some are just not everyone's cup of tea.  Any of those can make people feel that they're hard.  It can put people off a bit when they hear people saying that any task is "hard" (people are often put off things like the Billy Goats or Bottom Dwellers or Alice, because they hear people saying how "hard" they found them) when actually it's just the perspective of players who have found them draining on resources, time or patience.  I wouldn't want my perspective about the Topiaries putting anyone off trying them for themselves, when they might find they really enjoy them :)

Probably the chameleons.  Maybe because you have to keep them ongoing otherwise you lose most of your progress and have to start again.  They were also heavy on the pink diamonds, which at the time was a cause for concern for me.

You have my utmost sympathy, Tracey. I, too, found the Terrible Topiaries the most demanding and stressful. Somehow I managed to soldier on and get them finished, what a triumph that was, and the reward of the greenhouse is invaluable. So I would say to you Tracey, please don't give up now that you have come so far. You are nearly there, go on and go for it!!

I really loved doing the butterflies and the Fairy Tales. I enjoyed rainbow of fish and bottom dwellers too. Chameleons I found a little bit stressful. Topiaries too which is why I only do a trail every now and again.

Alice!

To be fair I enjoyed it on the whole, and it wasn't "hard"... but the frustration of not being able to find the right card for days and days and sometimes weeks on end, because all the CG would drop was the same wrong cards, over and over and over... that got frustrating. I also took a long time to spot all the requirements, and used a lot of resources hunting for those and card gardeners. I had the greenhouse too, which makes it easier!

Disclaimer: I haven't done some challenges like Chams, Bees, Flies or Candies yet, so my view may change if I ever do.

I may never finish bottom-dwellers because I can't for the life of me understand how to count frogs for spawn.

I am dreading the chameleons as it takes over your garden for such a long period.

I am still working through candies, the last few months extreme potlott pots made me bite the bullet on those. On the whole though, I find if you have a good set of fairy friends to help you through each challenge together, it helps. One of my closest fairy friends and I did dinosaurs together and set a goal of one dinosaur per month and that made it fun and we had a mini competition to see who finished each set of 40 the quickest. The Dino superfood reward is such a help as well.
