I thought Mike said we need to attract five and spot one, I'm just not sure how the *skip* works.

It was said in a thread about the vases it will be spot one attract 5. Mike also said that he will make it possible that you can skip one set of vases as well so if you aren’t able to do the extinct this would allow you to still get the reward if you complete the others and spot at least one of each.
