If you have completed the candies - by contacting them - they will send you your required candies list to attract the violets, likewise if you have completed the rainbow candies they will do this too.

It is, however, only if you have completed them

I asked for mine too, and got them a while ago. I love the presentation. I wouldn't have been able to do it like that myself on my pc. So much better than hand drawn pictures 😆 🤣 😂

Doing candies again after forgetting everything about them - my challenge is to attract a rainbow jellybeak; a rainbow sugarsnout just dropped a seed in a pot - that will be for the wrong kind of rainbow shape, so i should just discard it? or is there any reason to keep it?

It won't help you with your rainbow jellybeak so you can discard it. It would give clues to other candies, but as you already know what you need for your rainbow, and as you aren't doing anything other than jellybeaks, you don't need the clues.

When you say a rainbow sugarsnout dropped a seed I assume you mean when you spotted one in another garden? (since attracting a rainbow candy stores the seed in the shop, not a pot). The candy dropped when spotting is a random colour, not rainbow. So if you don't need a pentagon (dropped by the sugarsnout) you should discard it, but if you do need a pentagon you should wait to find out the colour before discarding.
