I just tried to put a couple of old Easter baskets on the marketplace for 1 gold dust, as I have several that I don't want, and wanted to let someone else have them at low cost.

I don't want to sell the pots for more than 1 gold dust, yet I am prevented from chosing my own price because the message continues that I have to charge at least 2 gold dust and have to retry with the higher price.

Can this be changed?  Maybe have that as a suggestion, rather than refusing my sale completely because it's not for a higher price?

I know it's only one more gold dust, but I would much prefer to be able to set my own price, and set it at a cost that I am comfortable with asking people to pay.

(I'd just discard them, as I don't want to charge more than I think they are worth, but that isn't an option either, for the "collectable" pots).

I suspect that is the stop people making 'arrangements' between themselves on the market Tracey. 1 more gold is fair enough I think :)

'to stop' people LOL.

I'm sure you're right but I still hate to charge someone more than I think is fair!  They're the more common baskets without the decoration; the smaller ones were accepted at 1 gold dust but the larger ones weren't and I was quite surprised that I couldn't set my own price.  It seems odd to me that someone can set an extortionate 9999 dusts for a lottery pot, yet I can't sell a common one for what I felt was a reasonable price - I just wanted to let someone else have them without them costing an arm and a leg :)

Well, the extortionate pots will either stay there or bought from someone thinks it's worth it. If friends have a high value pot, they could set a time to meet up and put it on for one gold and snapped up same minute by friend.

Oh, I know.  I was just very much taken aback by there being a lower limit too.  Particularly as the other egg basket pot was OK at 1 gold dust.

If we can't set a low price for the pots, and the minimum price doesn't appeal, perhaps we could just be allowed to discard them instead.

I just feel it's odd that people can name their price for the expensive pots, to the point where it sometimes feels they are taking advantage, yet we can't do something nice for someone else with the cheaper ones because there's also a cap on the minimum price.

Might just be me, though :)

I just checked the marketplace. There is some definite price gouging going on with with pots from last month's lottery. Wow.

We have some checks in place to prevent people using fake accounts to get pots, sell them to their main account for a low price, and then resell for higher. You therefore can't list items for less than half of the average recent sales prices.
