Is anyone else sad about there not being Holiday Pots this year? I'm going to skip it and just use my calendar from last year.

I’m sad. But I’ll give this a try. It might be a new fun thing to do.

I too am sad. Was so looking forward to new pots, but I have already lights from my saved calendar. Yep, just putting them up this year. Will try and make a new Xmas tree and snowman, but that's it.

Not sad about no pots with the Calendar this year, but not interested in the fairy lights - never was a fan of the background and honestly I would probably attempt to spot 8 each day so I could have ALL the options and that wouldn't really be fun for me (hunting that much). But then I wouldn't want to keep the background anyway and would harvest the Calendar asap, so it would be pointless for me to do all the work for "nothing"... I'll just work on getting 1 Festive Tree and building/harvesting snow people.

I am not sad at all. I don't use so many pots and a notice that in the new year something coming for new pots. So there are pots just not right now and in December its real busy for families. So less pressure for the season I would think.

I'm so pleased there aren't pots this year.
  I find it essential to have every pot whether I like it or not, but I could live without every light so the pressure is off.
 
  I will of course try and get every colour of every light, so the challenge is on and it's new. I'm looking forward to playing with my lights - that's a whole new dimension in garden design.

Personally I was glad to see no pots for the calendar this year. I like the mini-challenge of lighting the lights. It takes the pressure off hunting for pots so I can concentrate on building my snow people village and finishing my tree from last year along with creating my winter forest this year.

Thank you for the break, Mike. After 8 years of pot hunting it is greatly appreciated. 

I do like getting new pots but to be honest without increased storage space it becomes very difficult for me as I end up having to scrap things I have worked hard to make/earn that I didn't want to scrap. So for once I'm not too bothered this year but would be nice to return to more pots in future. I think it is more the element of surprise as to what the calendar will bring each day - makes it very exciting.

I am very disappointed, to put it mildly. I won't bother this year. I'll still attract the winter critters to get visitors, and I'll still do the tree. I guess I'll make some snowmen.

But Mike has said there will be something special in regards to pots in the new year,.
