I was just thinking. Remember when the Tasmanian Devil was SO rare and SO hard to attract because the flowers took so long to grow? I mean, 5 days isn't really THAT long, but it seemed to be, and I remember how excited we were when we finally got all our flowers grown, and how disappointing when it was missed!

What else do you remember from days past that has maybe changed in some way today?

In the beginning we could only have 5 plants and more advanced gardens got 7 plants.  I also remember there were no animals, just plants and I had harvested them all and we were all waiting for new plants for something to do. We would diamond dust our friends plants to help them progress faster

The dreaded Wilt Balance.

oh I had forgotten about the wilt balance ~ hated  it !

the struggle to spot enough wilters in order to be able to earn more garden spaces.... don't miss

I remember when the caterpillars/butterflies were introduced and I didn't think I would ever be able to complete that challenge because of the timings, alerts, and cost to plant a butterpillarflora (now I have sooooo many ruby seeds I will probably never use them all).

Easter Saturday, 2010, Rainforest appeared in Fairyland... I sat at my computer for the whole of Saturday morning, and found something like one macaw and two field mice. That day, I solemnly rewrote my entire approach to playing this game. Which involves not watering for the New Thing.

Plus, anyone else remember spending 100gold to NOT find their first Butterfly???!!! I don't always manage not watering for the latest New Thing...

I remember the alerts being an hour long when the Endangered were introduced.   I sat watering on my own, every minute for 55  minutes, on an alert for a Toucan and then someone else spotted  it.  I don't believe in the S-word but an hour was a long time and a lot of gold, and  I never stalked an alert after that until the time was shortened.

(And I still hate alerts to this day!).

i thought i was the only one who hates alerts!
happy to have them in my garden for those who depend on them, but i'd prefer if nobody else has them hahaha

It was the wait to find out what the black & white seeds would be for that I remember most, it seemed like it was forever....
This is copied from the Freedom fairies site - The Fairyland Fairy Tales were introduced in January 2013 to celebrate Fairyland's 5th Birthday!
Players had previously been collecting mystery seeds by spotting albino wildlife, it was finally revealed that these
had become Fairy Tale Seeds and they would open up a whole new world of Fairy Tales in Fairyland!
