Is it just pot luck which fruit you come up with, I'm trying to grow a strawberry which I know is rare but this has been my 6th attempt and no strawberry. Do I need to use a certain pot? I'm trying yo attract a waxwing xx thanks in advance xx

Do you have a crystal ball pot?  You can see the fruit as soon as you plant the seed. Otherwise it's random, I'm afraid.

Or you could use a Dulcis Fructus, which always harvests a chocolate strawberry.

Karen, you can use the "bud system" to help narrow down which fruit you are growing. There's information about it from the FFU site - you don't have to be a member to access the info.

It isn't dependent on the pot though; any pot can grow any of the fruits.
