Mermaids only come when the toadstool is fully grown.

I am trying to attract the King Penguin and it says on the wildlife guide that you need to be underwater but plenty of gardens in the KP suggested gardens are not underwater.   Why make the instructions harder than necessary?

There are 2 types of king penguins - one is on land and one is underwater. It's not about harder instructions, just having a different setup for a different wildlife.

Other wildlife that is on both land & underwater:
Seal, King penguin, Puffin, Walrus, Platypus, Otter, Sea Lion, and Hippo

Also, you won’t be able to attract any king penguins with this underwater toadstool because your plants won’t be ready in time.

Oh thank heavens for that, mu underwater toadstool has died now so I can just keep the plants going then. What a relief and thanks very much for all the guidance.
