It is still 6th of April and the daffodil has been removed from the gifting... why?

Time now 23:20 pm 6th April and I cannot gift a daffodil to myself so that I can plant it and complete my eggs. Why has it been removed before the time? 6th of April finishes at midnight? Even in UK it is 22:30 pm. Why?

The gifts are always removed on the date listed - usually at around noon GMT.

It is always the same with all of the gifts; nothing has changed.

And where do you decide when the day is finished?  It's different times in different countries.

Not really. It tells you the date when they will leave the gift shop. It doesn't say anywhere they'll be there until then end of that date. As Tracey said, it always works like this.

As the dev is from UK (or so I gathered), I understood the reference was UK time.

It is, GMT.  We're in BST now, but the game always runs in GMT.  And the gifts are generally removed at around 12 noon GMT.

I have been playing this game for 11 years and never noticed gifts run out at noon. Anyhow, it crushed my plans and efforts for my last eggs.
