I'd like to know if anybody with an Old Christmas Tree has managed to complete the Topiary Trails so that they could then store it in the Greenhouse? If so how did you get on with doing TOPS? Did you fail any of your trail attempts? How did you manage your spaces to deter the Arctics etc and attract the low veg feeders? Any advice welcome thanks. I need to know really as it's proving so difficult to get skunk tops that I don't want to continue to waste time and Superfood if it's not actually achievable at the higher level trails.

Not  me Sarah, but I completed the topiaries, bottom dwellers and hummers all with Percy in residence... it can be done but can be frustrating too... I survived (or rather Percy did) and Iā€™m sure your tree can and will šŸ˜Š

Good luck xx

Ps - I did not fail any topiary trails, but I had (and still do) a fab friend that worked with me šŸ˜

Thank you Amanda for reply. I just looked at what Percy attracts and it only attracts Tortoise which itself is Rare so wouldn't interfere so much with the 'Average' Top Critters. The Christmas Tree attracts Arctic Hare, Arctic Fox, Reindeer and Rudolph - all of which are 'Average' bar Rudolph - making the Christmas Tree an even trickier plant to hold onto when doing low veg feeders. So, I still really would like to know if there are any old Tree holders that have managed to complete all trails etc etc. Congrats to you though to do the trails whilst holding Percy!!!!! x

Wow, I see your problem - there isn't enough room to deter all the winter wildlife and host the topiary low plate veggie eaters. I thought I was going to have a rough go with my permanent forget-me-not, but that doesn't attract anything!

The only advise I would give right now is to limit how many trails you work on at the same time - that way you can have 2 feeding tables available for the current trail & thus more chance to get the needed topiary wildlife vs. the winter ones.

Good luck

Thanks Shannon, no matter if I put deterrents in - I get the same issue as all the deterrents attract other 'average' critters which cancel out the top critters. This is the 3rd day of such a terrible platter whilst waiting on skunk tops. I've been screen-shotting the platters. The current skunk plant still needs to attract 2 skunks to complete and is already over 2 days old! So, whilst this is manageable at the red level, my concern is that it won't be manageable at higher levels when I need to attract more of the skunk, meerkat and badger in the same 5 day time-frame. Clearly, if it's not realistically possible it's probably better for me to bail out now rather than waste a hell of a lot of time and SF along the way. I set out to do TOPs so that I'd have a Greenhouse to store my Xmas Tree in before attempting Bottom Dwellers and Combos.......but am beginning to feel that a lot of challenges are ruled out to me so long as I hold onto my Antique tree.

I understand and it's definitely a catch-22 situation.

I really need some help and some answers about doing Topiaries...10 feeds gone on SF now and not one top skunk. Same thing happened yesterday and only got any after those 10 feeds, If nobody here can answer any of my questions, how can I get some answers to my questions from the developer please. Thanks

Your query would best be answered by fellow players. But if you want to reach out directly to Mike and Team, use the 'contact us' at the bottom of the page.

I sent a message to the developer the day before yesterday - or maybe the day before, I haven't heard anything back.
