How do I harvest the bamboo to the platters to attract pandas I cannot find a thread for information

You don't harvest it to the plates. You need to earn the food.

First you need a FG bamboo plant and an empty plate in your garden. Then you have to spot a black and white critter in another garden that has a FG bamboo plant to get bamboo food on your empty plate.

Spotting a panda gives you double organic bamboo, any other black and white critter gives standard organic bamboo food.

There is a full set of instructions in the watering box when you hover your mouse over a fully grown Bamboo plant in your own garden.

You had probably forgotten to clear your plate Kim and there was nowhere for the food to be dropped.

And don't forget that there also has to be a fully grown bamboo plant in the garden where you spotted the magpie.  The black-and-white wildlife won't drop bamboo food if there's no plant too.

Good point Tracey, I assumed Kim already knew that when I saw she had bamboo in her garden.
