By general consensus how many organic plates would you declare that no candy critters will visit?

I generally think after two standard (5 feed) plates or one double (ten feed) I can be pretty sure, but I have seen someone else say they got a critter after that. So maybe give it 15 feeds?

Wow and I came here wondering if I should dump a plate after one worm. I am possibly impatient.

One of mine showed up for the first time a couple of feeds into my third plate of organic.  So don't write them off too soon!

Does every shape and colour attract something in the right place, with the right food or do some shapes and colours attract nothing? Hope that makes sense 😕

Gosh, I have been ditching food after one feed

I only have two Candy flowers as I harvested one.  How can I get another one so that I can draw the critters to my garden....Please Help

Every multiple of five of each of the candy critters will drop a seed into an empty hand-painted pot.

Every multiple of ten of each spotted in your own garden will drop a seed into the Misc section of the seed shop.

sometimes, specially if you have more than one candy critter on the same food, it can take a while to come.
  i.e. on my first plate of barries, the first two feeds were yellow candydevil, than blue and red cherrymole start to come... i swapped the two triangles to test both colors... well after a second plate (double organic) full of blue and red cherrymole and not a single candydevil, i changed again the candies' order, but this time i left in place only the second one, and finally a candydevil come back, green this time :)
