Hello, can someone please tell me, if I go underwater in a halloween pond, then attract my first ghostly frog for spawn, would that change the count on my ordinary underwater adult frogs at the same time?

No. The ghostly ones are listed separately to the ordinary ones.

It does affect the TOTAL number of frogs that will come to your garden.....

You have to add the 2 different frogs & check against your froglets to see if you are due any kind of frog. Then they work separately as in each 1st & then 5th will deposit spawn.

What Sherene said is true for any kind of UNDERWATER frog. Of course the land adult frog is only dependent on how many sets of tad-froglet-UW adult frog you have spotted in other gardens....

Yes exactly & your 'spotted' ghost frogs have to be added to your 'spotted' UW frogs LOL! Gets very confusing! :)

Ah ok thank you. If I only want to attract the first one for spawn, would I always need to remember that one when working out my totals to calculate how many frogs I could still attract? Sorry I know I'm probably being dense but struggling to get my head around it. I'm about to start bottom dwellers and done well to get a supply of tadpoles ready, so I just want to check I'm not going to mess anything up before I start!

OK, Lisa, you haven't done any Ghost frogs yet & you have enough froglets for frogs, so go under to a halloween pond, same as normal except you must have a fully grown halloween plant. Then once under, put out your high table berries for frogs and an empty table for spawn, as your first Ghost frog will lay spawn. :)

Sorry just caught up on the other comments. I'm glad you said it's confusing Sherene, that makes me feel better lol. But I think I get it now, as I think I'd only need to keep an eye on the numbers should I get close to the end of my tadpoles and froglets. I think lol x Thanks everyone.
