No, it won't - you'd have to go underwater with ordinary food first, to get an ordinary mermaid to take you underwater.

I just spotted a mermaid on cake to take the garden underwater. Might be one of the glitches that has been fixed now.

A mermaid (not birthday mermaid) was spotted in my garden a few minutes ago on birthday cake :) I wish I had birdbath in the garden...

Oh, forgot to say...this happened while garden wasn't underwater...mermaid was spotted on birthday cake and transported my garden underwater

Maybe Mike changed it so that mermaids would eat cake when he fixed the glitch?  I didn't think mermaids were coming to cake earlier, but it would simplify things if they do.  Otherwise it'd be a bit of a juggling act when we have to get the cake by spotting critters and time that to work with going underwater.

As mermaids are listed to eat "anything" it is correct now that they come feeding on the cake when the garden is on dry land. That´s one of the glitches which Mike has fixed.
