Sorry Mike, just visited loads of friends gardens, most of them have just left all their Cham plants sitting there for wilters & nothing else, I don't blame them, the amount of time they take to RFH is too long in my opinion, many have already done the bees, so they are stuck with all these plants waiting to RFH & no space for anything else.

Sorry, Mike, but I have to agree :/

I feel a bit stuck with all the plants.  I'd prefer to harvest them but I can't bear the thought of not being able to change my setup for another two months so I'll end up ripping them out, which defeats the object of growing them really.  I can't risk visiting half of my friends' gardens anymore because I don't want to change my setup by accidentally spotting a colour I shouldn't.

I'll be doing sunflowers when they are out, so I guess the Chameleanas will have to go.  And it's such a shame, I'd far prefer to have been able to harvest them.

I can see why they would need to be fully grown for a while, to give everyone the chance to complete them before they go RTH, but as most people are likely to be able to finish them well within the three months it would be nice to see the option to fruit dust them, if not reduce the timing even more drastically.

Trouble is, if the timings were changed now it wouldn't help those of us who have already planted them; it would only change for new flowers.  So I doubt there's anything Mike can do which would help those of us who have already finished them, anyway.

It's a little crazy in my opinion, I think people are hanging on because they are expecting something at the end of it even though they have no idea what, meanwhile there are a lot of 'stagnant' gardens.

There will be uproar if people feel forced to remove plants, and then find there's something at the end of it which meant we had to get them all to RTH!

It's a long time to have to have at least seven plants in the garden for, and it *is* leading to stagnant gardens.

I agree with Sherene and Tracey.  I guess when the first rainbow plant is harvested in little under two weeks now we will know what to expect from the others.  If it is jjust gold I for one will rip out the others but if it means harvesting the complete set for a reward then many will hang in there to the bitter end.  Maybe a heads up from Mike would help us decide sooner rather than later!

I was disappointed to find out the plants couldn't be fruit dusted (except the rainbow plant). Most people are capable of not fruiting plants when needed, although some do accidentally. Waiting 3 months is excessive. I personally have trouble waiting for forest seeds to become RFH and that's 3-10 days from FG to RFH (depending on the color of plant).

I don't think they will be any thing , Mike would have said by now

I don't think there is going to be any kind of reward at the end either, just 5 sq. feet of rainforest saved for each one harvested.  I've ripped out all but 2 of mine as my logic says that I can plant, dust and harvest a fairy toadstool every 24 hours to save 3 sq. feet while helping others collect some fairytale seeds along the way.  90 days of 3 sq feet every day is far more rainforest saved than just 40 sq feet for 8 chameleanas :)

I agree, it would be nice to hear something from Mike about if there is any benefit to leaving the plants to be RFH.  It's a long time to wait when you can't hunt any chammys without freezing your own garden first, so you  don't mess up the flower colors.
