1. Don't use the wilting gardens list. Everyone sees that at the same time, and so the competition for the wilters is too high.
2. Try the new gardens list on the All Gardens page. New gardens don't often have games, and frequently wilt. You may have to refresh the screen a few times before a wilter turns up, but I've rarely had to refresh more than half a dozen times before that little orange circle shows its head. That's where I get the vast majority of my wilters from, and it never takes me more than a couple of minutes.
3. Use the Search function box on the All Gardens page, and put in random words. I just went there and typed in Greenhouse, and the first garden that sprung up was one with a wilter.
4. Use the Random Gardens list - you will often find wilting gardens there. Again, if nothing shows up on the first page then refresh the screen and it's not likely to take long before you find a wilter.
5. When you find a wilting garden and have crushed your snail into gold, check the news feed. If the garden wilts often, or if it isn't visited very frequently, then consider adding it to your favourites. Gardens only show up on the wilters list when they have been wilting for four hours or more, but if you have some badly tended gardens on your favourites list you will see the little orange circle of wiltiness as soon as the plant wilts.
6. Remember to leave three hours between your snails, otherwise you won't get gold even if you do manage to find a wilter. If you always look for a snail after you find your three-hourly gold, remember that if it takes you a long while finding one, it may be less than three hours between them if you find one straight away next time you collect your gold.
