If I understand the WG correctly, when we happen to spot all 3 UW frogy-related things, we are eligible to host the *land* adult frog even though we are not prepared or ready for it yet?

Happened to someone earlier today she had high table of berries and food on other tables.    Adult frog came to high table of berries,  no empty table so no spawnfood.       She must now collect more complete sets of UW critters and wait for frog #5 to drop spawnfood on empty table.      So so sad  :(

Correct - and then the wild berries have to be on a high table - so plenty of opportunities to avoid having frog visit!

Sure, but I find it ouch when we are bond to using berries on low plate *all* the time for the sake of avoiding this creature
Hopefully the FTs aren't too bad if I have to use low plate for berries to attract Fairies

Oh I was just wondering about this - ok so if we manage to spot the unholy trinity, but are not ready to host frogs yet, all we need to do is avoid having berries out (on a high plate) and the frog won't visit? It will hold off til we're 'ready'?

Now I am way confused...lol I was just in a garden where there was a 'frogspawn alert" So I tried for it cause I had an empty platter. Someone else got it (of course...hahaha), but when I checked her garden, she had 3 tables full of berries & was underwater. When I checked her critters, she had only spotted 2 of them.

What do you get when you get the frogspawn - an UW frog or land frog?

I'm not sure whether you've seen my reply on the other thread, Jean.  You won't have had a notification because there was another post in between.

There are two ways of getting frogspawn.  One is when you've spotted one tadpole, one froglet and one UW frog; do not be underwater, have one high plate of berries and one empty platter, and the land frog can come and lay spawn on the empty one.  Go underwater once you have the spawn.  Be careful to have that empty platter otherwise the frog might visit the berries but be unable to lay spawn and then you'd have to collect another four of each to get four more land frogs.

The other way is by attracting tadpoles and froglets to the spawn whilst you're underwater; then you can start getting the UW frog, one per set of tadpole/froglet.  Again, you need a high plate of berries and an empty platter.  And again, your first, fifth, tenth, 15th and so on will give you the spawn if you have the empty platter.
