Thank you, Gil. I just am playing by ear.. I planted the 3 seeds they gave me in misc. when the are in harvest I just start moving them around to see if something different arrives. Not very good at them, but just trying to do them while a lot of others are trying. I do know if you have 4 ready for harvest none will come.. only 3. good luck with the birds.. I love them.

Thanks for all the feedback so far!
I've designed this challenge to hopefully appeal to a lot of different players, in that you can make it as easy or as hard as you want.
If you want easy, then you can attract quite a lot of critters (especially Red, Yellow and Blue ones) just by randomly planting Candyflower seeds and getting random fruits, and then experimenting with different food types and the order of your candyflower fruits. You can also earn your seeds simply by leaving food out and waiting for them to be spotted - easy! Should be plenty of fun just playing that way if you want, and seeing how many you can get coloured in in your wildlife guide :)
If you want hard, then figuring out and getting the combinations for the violets should definitely keep you busy! (Note: a greenhouse will help a lot with the violets, although certainly not essential. But I figured most players who enjoy a tough challenge will already have the greenhouse!)
Or for something in between, you can aim for the Orange, Green and Indigos (which come when you have 1 colour shape combo correct)
