Hey finally we're on at the same(ish) time 🤪.  All safe and dry for a while. Talk now is of a fast-tracked buy-back for flooded homes. That would really help our good friends and neighbours. Unfortunately I will probably not make the cut and will end up with a nature reserve/ wetlands across the street and most of my lovely neighbours scattered. Beautiful but still a threat.  I need to swear 🤬  at someone or something.   Hope life is good in your world and your back is not too bad 🤞.   Vinnie is closer to getting into a supported living home, hopefully before winter which would ease my mind ( and frayed nerves). Hello you 😊  We're OK thank you 🤗 We got a flood last Friday in January which swept through a lot of houses across the road . The stream turned into a monster and we were evacuated by some nice strong firemen 🤩  Just the heat pump drowned and 6 inches of muddy water in my triple garage full of stuff . That was a difficult enough cleanup on itself. Wemoved out gor the cyclone but just escaped a repeat . The east coast here was just awful. Lives turned upside down😥.  Hope all is peaceful in your neck of the woods xx

And a Happy New Year to you and yours :).  I'm doing ok, not rushing anything. It's hard to see my boys going through this also, but we will get there :)

Thank you. We're managing but not, if you know what I mean. Just had our awesome neighbours over ( 3 lots of them) for a BBQ and I laughed and cried :)  Such is life. There is so much to adjust to in the midst of the grief. By far the hardest thing I've ever had to face.   Getting lovely messages like yours is a very real blessing xx

Hallo lovely Graham.  Thanks for your lovely message. We are OK, just lots to absorb with this. Radiation starts on Monday and we will see what they can offer after that. Just organizing for his brother and wife to come over from the Sunshine Coast next month then a road trip to meet up with their other brother and various family members. I am emotionally exhausted and trying for some balance here as I cope with him. One day at a time and all will be well.  Take care of yourself and stay in touch 💜🌌
