Oh yes..I agree.. but as soon as the ratio is wrong best dump the hive .. but I agree you're best to give the Blossom flower it's full run because you never know your luck!! There could be a run of violets...just like the run of Indigos you had!!

The hard part is that doing them at the beginning of the season folks are either trying them for the first time or creating them because they enjoy them so there are lot of spotters needing seeds. Now we really need to babysit the garden because not many folks are interested enough in spotting them. All three of us are having valuable Bees missed. We did when we put in the Yellow and Orange blossom for our Quest and the multi … Fran and Alfie are trying to build an Orange hive and they just had an Orange missed … you’ve had Violets missed but Indigos spotted … it’s definitely tougher.

You might want to send your two other hives to storage because you are loading up on the Indigo bees....I'm not sure if they add an attraction while sitting in a hive without a Blossom flower or not (probably don't) but I used to send any Hives straight to storage if they had too many wrong bees... I have a lot of hives with only the first bee in them if it was wrong...closer to the final flower. These will be handy to make new multiflower hives if needed but I should probably delete a bunch of them. I have tons!! I did use the red ones to start new hives for the Black Bear ..And tons of honey pots too of various mixtures and all-one-colored ones.
