Happy New Year! It has just gone Midnight here in England and I have been inspired by the tradition of first-footing to go around visiting fairies, leaving a few Gold coins for luck.

The Scottish tradition says that the first person to enter a household on New Year's Day will bring fortune for the year to come. It is a sign of good luck for the first-footer to bring a small gift, such as coins - hence my gift to you.
