🦄THE BLACK UNICORN 🦄
I set out to see the outside world,
A boy’s adventure tale to be unfurled,
but through my ignorance and naivety,
I am oblivious to a pickpocket’s thievery,
leaving me with an empty purse,
and a penniless plea to rehearse,
with no home I meander alone,
lost in the vastness of the unknown,
a weary and lonely soul travelling on,
until the daylight fades and then is gone,
but the mountains do come to my aid,
offering shade for a body so cold and afraid,
breathing through gritted and bared teeth,
I push myself towards the alcoves beneath,
finally I enter the ancient earthen caves,
that once sheltered heroes, slaves, fools and braves,
but the moon, a huge white capitulated eye,
in full bloom against the night’s sky,
shines down on a vision of unheralded beauty,
I sink to my knees in the name of duty,
within this cavern is a horse with a single horn,
A free spirited unbound prancing unicorn,
A symbolic virtuous mythological beast,
my sight overfed by this delineatious feast,
yet behind the monoceros stands a black clad woman,
armed with witchcraft; wonders she can s

I saw a little Butterfly,
She danced along my lane,
And as she passed me by,
She fluttered out your name.
She said you must not worry,
She gives you peace of mind,
And as she left she softly spoke,
LIFE WILL BE JUST FINE.
As I watched her fly away
A feather floated down,
For a dove had landed on a tree
Then glided to the ground.
He said he brings a message
From Angels up above.
He sings a little whistle,
To fill your heart with love.
He wants me to remind you
Of his precious little song,
And if you know someone who needs it,
Then pass this message along.

Earth teach me quiet ~ as the grasses are still with new light.

My Unicorn Friend

The raindrops had stopped falling on that cool summers' day,
The sun was thawing the clouds away.
When suddenly from behind the rainbow in a silvery haze,
I stared in awe; I couldn't help but gaze.

Something magnificent in gentle flight
Came drifting down like snow in the night.
Something magical with eyes shining bright,
With a sturdy horn, and a mane of pure white.

I gazed at this vision or was it a dream,
Was it a Unicorn, could it have been?
A mythical creature we've all heard of,

They haven't a thing put by,
