We visited Matt and family over the weekend, stayed the night. Was great catching up, we had lots of hilarity going on lol  Got home a few hours ago and the rain is coming.  We don't have a high maintenance garden but front and back lawns that need mowing, not so much now that winter is here which John is happy about lol

Happy 63rd anniversary to you both, wow that is an amazing milestone in your lives!  Your afternoon tea sound lovely, especially as you were able to take home some leftovers for "later" lol  You did well to remove the nail polish from your knitwear, that would've been very difficult, don't blame you for feeling well pleased!  Your nights are longer now, ours a shorter and much colder than normal, winter has set in - although some days temps still get up around 24'C.  Keep enjoying your garden, keep healthy and happy 💐💐

It was cold and windy so we came home a little earlier, not pleasant to walk around the shops browsing.

Thanks Melba, it's very cold up the Mountains, blowing a gale lol  No rain (yet) but it's nice to be spending some time "away from it all" for a little while. 

Good to hear it's a little cooler.  We have rain here as well and we are having a cold snap. We're having a little overnight get-away at the Blue Mountains tomorrow, and it will be 3xtimes as cold up there lol  Take care, best wishes to you both xo

I watched our friend's service, it could be replayed at a later time.  Very emotional but a lovely tribute to her.  Hope you are both keeping well and staying out of the heat, take care 😊

Our friend's funeral service in Qld is on this Fri, it's being live-streamed.  Our Steve is going together with a childhood friend who used to live around the corner from us and now also lives in Qld.  There is also a 2nd service in NSW in June which we will be attending. Our friend made all her own arrangements and even wrote her own Eulogy 😢 A very strong, independent woman.
