Hi Pat. We didn't get our boat ride. Rotten weather. It was forecast to be a good weekend but wasn't isn't that the way of things!  The dogs finally ate Sunday morning which was a relief. Got home just in time to feed them and they practically ate their bowls. I think Michael was just too much for them Amy's team won the baseball tournament which was a big achievement.
Hope all goes well with the contractor today.
Glad to heat there is interest in the rescues.
Enjoy the day. I have e to try to vet up
Hugs xxx

Hi Pat,it must be so rewarding to see those poor little kitties in such a state,Ill never understand cruelty to animals, big or small, they have as much right to this planet of ours as we have,Only they’re better behaved.I saw on on Facebook the other day,a poor dog abandoned,it was blind and starved,it made me cry watching it.
Coco is doing good, she was 1 year old in June. They reckon people aren’t too fond of black cats, but the weird thing is I now have 4 other black cats come into my garden where from,I have no idea,I do feed them and Coco loves to play out with them
We’ve had a busyish year,It was my 70th Birthday at the end of April,we went to Majorca for a week, three weeks later it was Paul’s 70th and he had a big party, not me I was staying away from all that.
July my youngest granddaughter became a teenager another party,then my whole family went off to Australia for a month,they staggered it because of the pub etc;
The last one came back a week ago Thursday.
Last Saturday was my youngest daughters 40th,so another party.
My grandson got fabulous results from his final exams all A*,so he has got a place at Durham University starting in 3 weeks,he’s studyi

Kneecap replacement
If only your kneecap is damaged, an operation called a patellofemoral replacement or patellofemoral joint arthroplasty can be performed. This is a simpler surgery with a faster recovery time. However, the long-term results are still unclear and it's not suitable for most people with osteoarthritis.

What I found today .

Oh how terrible those poor little babies . If I lived to be a thousand years old  I could never understand some humans capacity for such cruelty to innocent creatures .
Thank goodness for YOU and people like you who do so much to right such terrible wrongs bless you my dear friend and I'm so happy they are getting better ..I do hope the little darlings get completely well and find forever homes with all the love that ANY animal deserves …
Thank you sweetheart and please could you keep me posted about them ...Biggest hugs and love dear Patrice xxxxxxxxxxx

yes I do.When I got the first mini Pom 3 pounds called John Henry :-) He could not walk .He was 7 years old and the owner that had him kept him in his wheelchair basket all those years. ?we had him for 5 years and before he died he was able to almost run his poor little back was humped over and I spent 3 hours  through out each day massaging him .A year later he began to walk. It was such a joyous day.The first year I carried him every where in a pouch. Then we got the other Pom 4 pounds  .So I would take them for walks in the stroller and let them totter about in the park nearly every day the stoll them back home. They were such sweethearts. My little Chin was only with us just over a year. She got throat cancer and within a couple of weeks we couldn't do any more for her.She always had a smile on her sweet little face..My heart was pretty well broke by then as she was the 3rd one to go.I have a Pom still here he is 17 .We have had him for 7 years .He is both blind and deaf and sleeps a lot now.He is on heart meds..I have 3 very arthritic ones and 2 old chihauhuas. One was a nasty biter but is slowly getting better. The other one was a dog mill dog and hasn't any teeth and we have spen

Thank you for letting me know about that! I never knew exactly how it worked. You have to go to a lot of gardens assuming they have sunflowers too to be able to pull it off. lol
