so now it up to you when you want to come out of underwater you don't need a mermaid anymore go back to normal Mushroom and Bird Mix. but still watering all Daffodils to get a Chick egg in your nest for a beak.

Barbara I don't think your underwater Toadstool going to get a Mermaid on it's already 79%
that happen to me to. I would harvest your rainbow mushroom and put another Underwater Toadstool in garden so you have 2 of them give you more of a chance getting one.
