I can  just picture in my mind how excited the students was to receive such a lovely gift. You are right, the cost to go to the movie theater is dear.
We are expecting sun all week. Very cool temperatures but sun.. Yay.  Looking forward to that.

I am so glad you got to see a movie. I had to google it to see what it was about. I have not seen a motion picture in a dogs age. When my son was growing up we went quite often. Many moons ago.
I do hope you get better sleep tonight without any heartburn. That is no fun for sure.
We transplanted just over 100 baby trees this morning. Its overcast and a bit drizzly out. They like that weather for being out of the ground before I put them in a different area to get their roots settled again.
Not to much else going on here. It looks like a sunny week coming up though.

How did your meeting go ?
I drifted off to sleep before 10 last night. And slept real sound. I am up having my first coffee but feel so blessed to have had some real deep sleep. Its been a rough 2 weeks. I have listened to his breathing and the amount of his coughing and it has improved. He even said as much this morning. Still some coughing but a lot less.
I don't have to much to do today. So that is a plus. Not that I have an overly amount any day really.
The grass is starting to green up and a few spring flowers are starting to poke up too. Yay. Love spring flowers. Love all flowers.. LOL

He does not believe he has improved a lot. Its been week #2. But last week he could hardly get any air in his lungs. So I think he is showing signs of improvement. Just slowly. I imagine to him it seems like it will never be done.

I am not yet sure what I will do today. Except for the normal stuff. I went for a walk 2 days ago when it was not raining but I really did not enjoy it so much. I walked past the graveyard area and there was people working on digging in there. I knew both of them.. well recognized them to speak to. One of them had just lost his son and they were readying a spot for that. Very sad indeed.

Its not really walking weather though mostly. Only plus 5 and more rain, not a good day to be out and wet .. but lots of nice days will be coming I am sure.

Its great to have something done that needs doing and see how nice the results are right away.
I just cleaned the portable oven. You know the inside of those are like toaster ovens. Easy to get dirty, difficult to clean as you can't use the oven cleaner in there. And I really should do it weekly instead of every 3 months. LOL
Its not to bad, I am satisfied with it. Cleaning stoves is not my favourite chore but truth be told most household chores are not that awe inspiring anyway. 🤣
We got quite a bit of rain last night. I put out a nice sized barrel and 2 large garbage can things and all are full. I do have more in one of the buildings but I have not nor am close to planting time so 3 is enough. Its funny about that.. you usually have way to much or not enough. LOL  I will stick with the 3 for now. If we get a normal type of year, not to wet or not to dry I won't need more then that and really we are due a normal year.. LOL
They are showing clouds and showers for all week with a sun showing on Saturday.

Its funny you mentioned that. He stopped at a drug store in the village he works in. He got something new to try. I hope it helps.
Unless it becomes bacterial they won't prescribe antibiotics. But a puffer type thing may help I would think.
I'll let you know if the new meds work .. something almost like the one I got but with a cough suppressor ? I would think that is what one would not want but I am not a pharmacist. And truth be told its all quite confusing looking at so many options of things.

        ´'`    I am glad to hear you have had a lovely sleep. Stephen slept mostly in the big chair last night, it kept the breathing a bit easier. I know he will be glad to see the end of it as its hard to get the rest you need to help heal when you wake up so much in a coughing fit.
That is great you got some rain. We got some also and more to come tonight, just showers today but real rain with numbers on the totals for tonight. It is helping a lot with the water table yes.. the whole week looks overcast and have showers but the temperatures are all about 10 and above. Its a good thing to be going in this direction.

We had a bird in the stove again yesterday. When Stephen got home we took part of the stove apart so we could. Well He could, get him out and then while I hid in the bathroom Stephen got him to go outside again. Poor little thing. He was a black bird but I don't know if he started out that colour. We had one do that last year too. I have no idea why but both of them was safely removed. He was really scared but he did not hide like I did. I really have a problem being in enclosed areas with flying things. LOL

The sky out here is an amazing colour of pinks where the sun is rising. So pretty. I would say a promise of a sunny day but that would not be true. We are having rain and cloud this week but the temperature is all on the plus side and mostly above 10

Poor Stephen, he is still quite ill. The meds help a bit but he is still having coughing fits. The only good thing is now more air is getting in. I hope this week sees the end of it. Its a horridly bad virus and I am so glad I have not caught it. I am amazed at that part of it all. But happy amazed..
