We are going to have 4-5 days of milder weather .. Yay. I am looking forward to that. Stephen is off to work and I am now waiting on the sun to come up so I can head back out and clean up any drifting. I imagine it will take a bit of work but there is hardly any wind and that will make working more pleasant.

I am glad you are going to get to meet you Grandson and his family. It must be exciting for you.
I do hope it works out ok with Karl being there for a whole month. That is a long time especially with him being so aggressive towards his father right now.

We have spent most of the day outside trying to open the driveway at least enough to get a vehicle out tomorrow but its blowing back in at a decent rate.. I am tired and so is Stephen and we will have to look at it more tomorrow and hope the wind slows down some.
The mailbox is fixed, and put back out, I wonder if the plow driver grins each time he destroys someone's property ? It does not seem to happen if one is outside watching him come up the road.. hummmmmmmmmm

but the mail box is again here in the kitchen crumpled some.. I wonder how they can avoid doing that when you are outside down by it.. lol

Anyway, just having coffee.. Stephen was out this morning some and it is a mess. We will need to work on that but the wind is blowing back all the work you do at the moment.  I need to look at a forcaste and see when that slows down some but for now I am enjoying the inside.. LOL

The amount of snow has been down graded but the winds are still going to blow. We shall see how it goes. They say it will start in about 5 hours.
How did the Sally / Karl situation go. Was it just her that came back for a break from it all or both ?  Interesting development no matter what way it goes.
I am just making brunch now. A veggie Quiche ( crustless ) I have not made this in a long time and its easy and healthy too.. win-win.

Stephen has gone for a walk over to the wood lot. Just to see if the snow was to difficult to start working in again. He said its do-able. He will try to cut some after brunch. For the past week it was to cold to be outside much and frostbite warnings so we had to put a stop on working but now the temps are going to be better starting today and going for the week so we can see how it goes. We may be 1/3 cut so really do need to get more done. But we do have time still so no rush to cause accidents. Those ones involving chain saws are pretty unforgiveable so we will be careful.

        ´'`      I am home .. the roads were not so bad on the direct routes. We stayed off the secondary roads as much as possible. The sun is shining and its only 8 below freezing out with a windchill of 12 below freezing so its starting to warm up a bit. The storm starts sometime tomorrow afternoon and runs for about 24 hrs they are saying .. with about the same amt of snow as last one only a bit heavier. We will see. No use worrying about it until the time its upon us.

How are you doing today ? Did you get out to the farmers market ?

It has been a challenging winter and colder then the normal but its not just me. These storms are hitting so far and hurting so many. Hopefully Feb. will be a better month.  I have switched over my brace and this one uses compression. It has helped a lot just from yesterday. I watched some video's on you tube also and even though it has not healed my knee it has enlightened me. 
Oh my goodness, well that is to bad that he did not save the money from the sale of the first place to go towards another place. It puts a lot of burden on you and Jeff. I am glad you are getting a break too.. one can't constantly be feeling hostage in their own home. I know its not really that way but psychological stress is very real and sometimes even harder to deal with. Did he go back to Colorado or is it just a few hours of a break ?
That is to bad about your friend but I am glad she was available for her daughter to come home to.
Wow... A shout out. And you know you deserve it! No matter where you live you give back to your community in so many ways. You are a true treasure and I am glad they see that.  Kudo's ... 🥂

I am so glad your friend went with you to Rotary. Was it a good meeting ? Nice to get out around others for a bit for sure.

I am confused, is Karl looking at properties on just one area of Hawaii or two? I thought he already had land and a camp on it ? I may be remembering wrong so please forgive me if I am. And if he does own more then one does  he plan on selling one or having multiple ? 
I can see why you are getting frustrated with him and Jeff also if he is still being argumentized.

We definitely are going to get another Nor'easter this Sunday. They have been looking at the track of the storm to see how much snow and winds. Its significant. I am not looking forward to it, we have had very cold weather and all the ice/snow is still very much piled up already. Some of the banks are now very high and it will be a real challenge to push it up higher.. but difficult or not that is what we will do. It has been a very cold winter so far and I am hopeful next month will bring a bit milder temps.
But the sun is shining again today and a part day for tomorrow so for that I feel truly blessed.
