The gold was for spotting a Waxwing.....I am now hunting 5 Roadrunners.....they seem harder to spot than the Waxwings and they took me weeks to find. Is it just me or are there more missed in the gardens....Happy hunting.

I copied this from the Wildlife pages in case you were wondering as to why the Cuckoo still nested in your garden with a red Butterpillaflora. The reason the cuckoo still came is because you have 2 nests 1 red butterpillafora only works on 1 nest any more than that the cuckoo takes it chances & still nests in 1 of the nests.
"How To Keep Out
Deterred by flowering Butterpillafloras. One red (or rainbow) Butterpillaflora will deter all cuckoos attracted by one empty nest. (Other Butterpillafloras get progressively stronger, and can deter cuckoos attracted by multiple nests.)"
