Hi Claire, the painter was here from Mon.- Fri. (all day) last week then all day yesterday but he has now finished. Yay! A nice freshly painted bedroom, bathroom/ensuite and laundry...doors and all haha :)  Carpets are next but haven't heard when they will be done yet.
I was going to go back to the gym today and do Pilates but ended up thinking that i will use today to just "enjoy" the house to myself for the day haha! I'm sure you understand what i mean :)  I'm actually still in my dressing gown and it's just gone 9.30.....no rush to be ready for someone turning up or me going out...it's great :) Will go and have a shower after this though and get some stuff done.
It is hard when it comes to FL because it's so addictive and can take over our lives, i know. I wish that more babies would be introduced and in fact i don't know why pretty much all the animals in FL could have babies. I loved doing those but finished them years ago. Same with the birds, i loved doing those and miss them too. I am only dabbling in candies for something to do and haven't done those for a few days. Just have Alice food out to help others which i'm happy to do but i can't or don't want to just pla

Hi Claire. Well the painter was still here all day Friday and the builder came along to do the fixtures in the bathroom and fix up a few things. Now the painter is back again all day tomorrow, all day.....He said he should be finished then...he bloody better be hehe!

Hi, as long as all is ok :) I am just here again in the kitchen as the painter is here and also the builder putting up the cornices and the bathroom towel rails etc. Of course they keep having to go through here to get to the front to get stuff now and then but it has to happen and i just have to put up with it hehe! Haven't been to the gym since last Wed. though :( This week should be it now except for when the carpets get done at some stage but at least that should only be one day.....well it better bloody be hahaha!
Oh that's good that you could get the money to do your windows....there's always something isn't there?! xo

PS. Day 2.....going to be here for a few days yet.....painting not finished......cornices etc. not been done....hopefully it's all finished by the end of the week. It has to be surely. It's only a small laundry for the painting and it's only really 3/4 of one of the walls as the tiles go up that high on that one. The bathroom is done, that was only the ceiling. He's in our bedroom now. He went out to get lunch and i had a nosey and he had done around the edges so far. He's back now so will see what gets done. xo

Hi Claire, i'm just home today. We have work happening again here. Having the cornices and painting done and also putting in some fixtures. I'm sitting at the kitchen table trying to busy myself on the computer while a guy i don't know (thought it was going go be one that's been here before a  few times) is down the end of the hallway in the bathroom and laundry, starting with the painting. He keeps having to go past to go out the front to get stuff from his car and i just feel uncomfortable and he probably thinks, is that all she's doing, just at the computer....I've put away the dishes from last night but that's it as i did the washing and the floors yesterday and it's all clean, so nothing to do really. Oh well, i shouldn't worry what he thinks i know but can't help myself. Hopefully they'll be finished tomorrow. I am hoping to get to the gym for Pilates tomorrow for a couple of hours if i can, while they're here but will see.
How are you going with the school hols? What's the weather like? It's been cold and rainy here for the last few days. xo

Gee I’m not having any luck today , but I have been busy around our home and wet out ., you and Lesley are the only gardens with comfits , I’ll check back tomorrow thanks Claire

I can imagine that you would forget you're playing again, i would too :) Gee, i can't get over how quick this last school term has gone. We have hols. here starting next week.
I was going to go and do 2 classes this morning but then a storm came rushing in (it's still thundering away now) and i didn't want to be driving in it, unless i had to.
We finally got the mobile ensuite picked up this morning and at least with me here, i could do a video of it leaving.....hahaha! June 16th. last year, we had it from.....just about 10 months....woah.....xo
